New this year: We’ll offer a Band Scramble event! Here’s how it works:
We put all interested musician’s names in buckets by instruments (a bucket for guitars, separate bucket for basses, another for mandolins, etc.)
Then we pick one name from each bucket to create a band, and announce the groups before noon.
You’ll have the day to pick 2 songs that you can do as a group and run thru them a few times. We’ll set aside a few shady groves for this purpose.
At the end of the day, each new band will perform. A group of judges will select the top 3 groups, and we’ll have a few prizes for those bands.
Performers,
Please let me know if there are any errors on this version of the schedule; there were some slight changes made.
I’m working to get an updated map out, with the placement of the new stage and the jamming tent (brought to you by the Arizona Bluegrass Association).
And I will get a note out to the folks who plan to participate in the Band Scramble, with more details on when and where, etc. If you haven’t signed up for that, now’s your chance!
